4minute is beginning promotion for their Japanese version of “heart to Heat.” The girls revamp their video and made it more low key.
Already ban the music video but still manage to make #1 Melon, Bugs and Navar digital. Newcomer male soloist Bang Yong Guk is ready to dominate the scene. He’s team up with B2st(Beast) Yo Seob for a powerful pop rock number “I Remember.”
It’s not the song that is causing the controversial fuss but the music video itself. While the standard of any newcomer video consist of dancing, looking cute, sexy or fierce. This one has an excellent story plot of a young girl who is in serious trouble. Her lover (or former) must go out and save her from a group of bad hyung. He will risk everything and kill anyone who dares stands between them. Quite interesting, I see a bright future with this newbie.
Muh, I’m coining lines from the very own Teddy Park (1tym) from the “The Leaders.” That include G-Dragon (Big Bang) and CL (2ne1). I feel these 3 have challengers who is ready to wave their own flag.
Hyuna will end her Bubble Pop promotion with a hip hop number called “Just Follow”. The original creator and rapper Dok2(Gonzo) is MIA for the moment. So to take his place and make sure this song doesn’t fail to impress Zico of Block-B will do the male part.
I already Know Hyuna killed this track further proving she is one fierce smexy ladey. But Zico totally amp fans up with his tongue twister of a rap. Although Zico is young, in a rookie group and is barely legal. He has already shown he can go against even the most experience rappers and beat the best of them.
Watching Hyuna and Zico on stage these two quickly become an unbeatable dynamic force for 3:26 seconds. Just watch for yourself
I will ship the hell out of these two ZiYuna you have my fan girl attention.
I’m not sure if MNet and YG is able to keep up with English subbing on YouTube. Because of this you may see two different version of each video. The original aired version from MNet prior to any translated material. The English subs are secondary and used specifically for YouTube fans to watch. So suspect delays on English subs as the season progress. Each video will be indicated (KOR) Korean and (ENG) English. I don’t work for MNet or YG I just have good common sense.
Note: Although English subs are preset on some videos it can also be a scroll options menu separate from the video offer by YouTube. When you see a symbol that represents a ‘page’ that is English subs or use Google Chrome browser.

You gotta love thus plucking song ^_^
No secret K-pop is invading Japan aggressively for the past couple of years. Yet many have enter but only the elite stake claims to Oricon victory.
While K-pop is on the path to globalization thanks to the greatest universal promoting tool of the world music. The whole year of 2011 is a mix blend of dynamic Korean comebacks with Japanese ambition.
While summer Japanese comebacks is coming to an end with TVXQ,2pm, MBLAQ and Big Bang on the cool down. Winter will keep the coils burning as more K-pop idols bump heads, put on some glitter and try to sing in their best listenable Nihongo.
Girls Generation (SNSD/Shoujo Jidai)
Consider them the leaders of the pack next to Kara. These 9 fierce ladies dominated Japan without fail. By unleashing the Japanese versions of “Gee” and “Genie.” Which usher in the new era of Hallyu wave performers. Within this year alone their first self title Japanese album is certified platinum by RIAJ in physical sales exceeding over 500,000 + plus units sold. Charted Oricon Daily and Weekly at #1. Ending on Oricon Monthly at #2 and also snagging #1 on Billboards Japan. Raising the bar even higher for other K-pop groups who wish to enter. 2ne1
Certified bad ass in their own right 2ne1 reenter Japan still under YG flag. In an attempt to maintain artistic colors YG created a sub-label with Avex Entertainment called YGEX. This new sub-label will debut all YG base artists that includes Gummy, PSY,Se7en and Big Bang. 2ne1 will be the first to debut under this new joint label. Earlier this year 2ne1 debut back in May (against B2st) but do to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake promotions were called off. It was suspected that 2ne1 would debut with the Japanese version of “Go Away” on Music Station but it was canceled. Two weeks later 2ne1 release a collective Korean album through Avex that did not contain previous planned promoted songs “Go Away” Japanese Version and “Can’t Nobody” English version. The album sold 9,000 copies upon its release. YG consider the whole situation a “disappointment” and instead focus on a Korean mini comeback. A stream of 6 songs plus MVs that were certified all-kills on digital charts in Korea. This comeback also will showcase the group’s first concert on August 27th at Chamsil Olympic Park in Seoul,South Korea. Tickets for the event sold out in minutes.
2ne1 plans to tackle Japan in September with the release of “I Am The Best” and “Hate You” already in rotation. There is no information leading whether or not 2ne1 will drop a mini album for their revamp Japanese debut.

Super Junior is back more sexier, bolder, and colorful than ever.
The 13 man band had their fair shares of up and downs lately. With Kibum not present and Kangin completing madatory military service. Many fans worried if the core of Super Junior has been broken. Although these promotional/performance set backs manifest back in 2010 prior to the release of Bonamana. The group still manage to be the top-selling album in South Korea and stayed #1 in Taiwan for 61 weeks in a row in 2010. Suspect a repeat with their newest album Mr.Simple.
The full length album is a risk of its own since most groups still settle for mini. Instead Super Junior wanted to give fans the full experience of their music. The main title “Mr.Simple” is classic SuJu style. Easy to follow yet catchy course with addictive melodies and a beat that commands. This continues with “Opera,’ “Be My Girl,” “Walkin’,” and “Feels Good.” Needless to say you will hear a western influence on the lines of Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. Is this SuJu attempt to have global appeal? Most likely but to only consider that would be musical blasphemy to Elfs.
Majority of K-pop is searching to obtain international fandom through media, SuJu more through music. “Good Friends” is a soulful r&b track straight from 70′s and this albums hidden master piece. While “White Christmas” is a pop rock ballad that only Japanese idols are known to pull off. The pop R&B style of “Y” and “My Love,My Kiss My Heat” has modren U.S appeal. SuJu hasn’t forgotten the importance of ballad lovers. “Storm” and ”Memories” are for Chinese fans who can’t get enough of broken-hearted romance. The up beat tempo of “Sunflower” kindly refreshes the album with Korea’s infamous charm to romance and completes its multi feel appeal.
After listening to Mr.Simple you get a feel that Super Junior is ‘well traveled’ on a musical stand point. To incorporate different music styles into their album seem crucial to the over all affect. There isn’t a primary focus but to title this album “Mr.Simple” to something that seems more complex is a play on words. I think K-poppers will enjoy this album and the many different sounds created. Whether it feels western, Japanese, Chinese or truly Korean SuJu successful has touch grounds on what makes Asian pop so attractive to listeners all over the world. Consider this a regional album that will dominate the other half of 2011 **** 4 stars
