Every since C.N.Blue debut with “I’m A Loner” Ynot has cried plagiarism for “Blue Bird.” FNC Music which is the company that manage C.N.Blue quickly squash rumors or plagiarism.Ynot vocalist Ju Mong is still pointing the figure of shame at the original composers of “I’m A Loner” Kim Do Hoon and Lee Sang Ho.This was Ju Mong statement about his recent choice to take legal actions.
“We shared our thoughts about this situation, yet the composer, songwriter and company representative have not made an excuse or shared a statement. We have received advice from an entertainment business lawyer and will seek help to take legal action.”
A FNC Music (CNBLUE’s company) representative claimed that we were noise marketing to raise our own popularity. We think that, from the plagiarism allegations, FNC Music is the one noise marketing to up their popularity instead.
On February 1st, Ynot’s company asked FNC Music to apologize for the insulting statements they made, and asked the songwriters to make an official statement toward the similarities between the songs.
This controversy is ultimately between me (Ju Mong), the songwriter of Blue Bird, and Kim Do Hoon and Lee Sang Ho, the composer and songwriter of I’m a Loner, and shouldn’t involve Ynot and CNBLUE.
So Ynot want R-E-S-P-C-E-T from FNC music and fess up to stealing “parts of the song. This seems to be a repeat last year when YG was being accused of plagiarisms by Sony. YG and Sony are in partnership with label EMI this didn’t allow any borrowing of artist music from artists each label could be affiliated with at the time.In the end after Yang Hyun Suk defended his own artist and label while Teddy made bad analogies YG was only given a warning letter.Sony and EMI was more talk than anything else could Jo Mong be doing the same?
