Jay Park for USA

I don’t know about you but Jay is becoming quite the popular ex-boy band member.I mean A)Leader of B-Boy crew Art of Movement B)He has a lead role in Korea’s Hype Nation movie . C) He’s teaming up with Dumbfoundead and Clara Chung for a collaboration and D)Is to perform with Map Of Soul (Epik High,Dok2)  in his own home city.Fans still wanna remember Jay from his 2pm days but its evident those days are over.To add more hype to his name is working with one of the top leading producers Teddy Riley.

Yeah the Teddy Riley, invented New Jack Swing “No Diggity” yes that dude.Along with T-pain and the godfather of west coast gangster rap Snoop Dogg.

(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop/R&B producer Teddy Riley has teamed up with Korean superstar singer/rapper Jay Park to produce his new untitled album.

Park shot to fame in South Korea as a member of the chart-topping group 2PM.

The American-born B-Boy split with the group amidst controversy in 2009, after making controversial statements about Korea on his MySpace page.

He eventually left the group, but resurfaced in Seattle as part of the Art of Movement B-Boy Crew and through a variety of covers on YouTube.com.

Park’s cover of B.O.B.’s “Nothing On You” has received a staggering 4 million views alone, since being released in March.

Since linking with Teddy Riley, Park has completed tracks with Snoop Dogg, Daz, T-Pain, Krayzie Bone and others.

Additionally, Park has been tapped to star in Hype Nation, a flick about breakdancers from the East and the West.

“I scooped this guy up right away because he is an incredible talent and everybody wants to work with him in the U.S.,” Hype Nation executive producer Jason Lee told AllHipHop.com.

Park will return to Korea this June, where 70% of Hype Nation will be filmed.

I hate to say this but Jay is doing much better without 2pm by his side.Granted that the myspace comments may haunt him but it hasn’t slim his chances of a promising career as an entertainer.

There are so many inaccurate statements in this article that I’m not even sure where to start.

    1. Jay didn’t “start” AOM. It is a crew that started with a group of friends, including Jay.
    2. He is not performing with Epik High. He is performing with artists that are part of the Map the Soul family, which includes Epik High, but not Epik High themselves.
    3. Teddy Riley produced “No Diggity,” not “No Diggy.”
