Jay Park for Hype Nation?

I’ve been reading reports possibly Jay Park (Jaebeom) to be in a movie called Hype Nation.From what I know and read thus far its just honestly hear say.According to reports Jay Park has connections with the movie’s producer Young Lee long time friendship relationship.Although another K-pop star Son Dambi was offer the lead female role but turn it down. Nothing is solid or can be stated as fact so its just hear say.I don’t see any problem with Jay Park being on the big screen.For heaven sakes G-Dragon is doing it with Shine A Light why not Jay?

Exile In Single In May

J-pop mega r&b group has suffer some bad publicity lately after their label is under investigation for tax invasion.Exile has bounce back with a very special single.

On November 12th 2009, EXILE performed the song Taiyou no kuni at “The National Celebration for the 20th Anniversary of His Majesty The Emperor’s Accession to the Throne” before Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko. On April 8th 2010, via the official website for “The Celebration Committee of the 20th Anniversary of His Majesty The Emperor’s Accession to the Throne”, it was announced that there would be a physical release on May 19th.

This announcement follows the discovery of several requests from fans on the Internet for a CD release of the song, which was written by Akimoto Yasushi and composed by Iwashiro Tarou with an additional music performance by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. The single will cost ¥1000 and all proceeds will be donated to JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) and three other organizations.

At least they’re donating the money to charity and not into their personal pockets.

Jewelry Comeback in July

It seems many K-pop groups are fixated on April/May being hottest two months only barely a handful has consider the summertime.While major YG artist like Se7en(in June) and Big Bang plan a comeback in the long awaited summer months so has another K-pop favorite Jewelry.Despite loosing members  Park Jung Ah and Seo In Young who went on to pursue solo careers.Surviving members Kim Eun Jung and Ha Joo Yeon will go on.

“The new Jewelry will stand before their fans this coming July. We are currently doing some final coordination between the current and new members. Please wait in anticipation for a brand new Jewelry as they will bring something that’s different from what is being displayed in the industry.”

To add more April comeback blitz Seo In Young will make her comeback outside of Jewelry.

Big Bang TOP has been super busy working on his new war movie Into The Fire.The trailer has been release and it seems pretty good.A lot of things get blown up and people just dying.The movie takes place during the Korean War when North battle the South for political independence.Much respect to our fellow Korean war vets both state side and honorable men who serve the South Korean army.

I don’t know what is more annoying the fact this lawsuit between SM and the fab 3 has been going on forever. JaeJoong,Yoochun, and Junsu are still battling SM entertainment for fair wages.As the scenario unfolds SM decides to file against the fab 3 injunction.

After receiving a confirmation that the TVXQ trio will be filing an injunction, we SM Entertainment had continuously put our best efforts to keep the group in existence; thus we have delayed this lawsuit on our objection toward the trio.

However, the three are not giving us answers to our request of continuation on such activities, and instead declared to stop all of their activities in Japan. Therefore, we are here to notify that we have filed in a lawsuit on the 12th against the trio, to state our objection toward their provisional disposition of the contract terms and also to verify the contract’s remaining validity.

Lim Sang Hyuk fab 3 official attorney added this regarding to this statement.Which was made to Newsen the 13th of April by phone call.

“We’ve learned about the lawsuit through the internet, but we haven’t gone through the details yet. We will respond to their action accordingly.”

SM might try to play dirty by filing agaisnt the fab 3 but I doubt they’re gonna win.Although SM has halt not only Tohoshinki activities over in Japan but also DBSK/TVXQ because they own the name.The boys can not promote their bands names until this lawsuit is settle.In result each member has started doing solo activities via appearing on TV dramas and modeling to stay a float. The whole point of this lawsuit was to earn better paying wages and profit shares.It only seems fair at this point SM should allow the boys to have  a little more green in their pockets.
